Hi, I'm Dr Lucinda Bell, the face behind Somerset Medical Aesthetics, and a GP with over a decade of experience caring for patients across Somerset — and 15 years as a doctor in the NHS. My roots are here in the South West. I grew up in Somerset before heading to London for medical school, and after years in the city, I found my way back — now settled in Bristol with my husband, twin boys, and little girl.

Coming home felt right, and so did building something meaningful for this community.

My passion for skin health truly came into its own during the pandemic, when I witnessed first-hand just how profoundly caring for our skin can impact confidence and overall wellbeing. That realisation inspired me to establish Somerset Medical Aesthetics in 2022 — a space where clinical expertise meets a genuine commitment to you as an individual.

My background as a GP means I bring not only aesthetic knowledge, but a deep understanding of anatomy and patient safety — because looking your best should never come at the expense of your health.
